Craig Nevius claims that he made a deal with Farrah Fawcett five years ago to create a documentary about her life, called “Chasing Farrah.” They actually made that film and it aired.

Nevius is now suing Ryan O’Neal and others, claiming he was forced out of a subsequent project and O’Neal “physically threatened him.” Nevius claims he worked with Fawcett for two years on the follow-up project (which aired this week on NBC). The suit alleges that O’Neal and Fawcett’s friend Alana Stewart (Rod Stewart’s and George Hamilton’s ex) “began to take actions to wrongfully interfere with Nevius’s contractual relationship with Ms. Fawcett…”

The suit claims in September, 2008, O’Neal contacted Nevius and demanded he relinquish control of the company that was producing the project. The suit claims, “When Nevius respectfully declined, O’Neal physically threatened him.”

On April 3, 2009, Stewart allegedly contacted Nevius and said Farrah “wasn’t doing well” and wouldn’t officially sign the deal with him. Nevius claims that Fawcett had previously agreed to do the project.

The lawsuit also names Fawcett’s business manager as a defendant. Nevius is suing for a declaration from the court that he has a binding deal to manage the project. He’s also suing for damages.

A 20-year-old “family friend” of actor Ryan O’Neal has requested a temporary restraining order to be issued against him. A Los Angeles Court declined to enter temporary orders based on the content of Dania Marin’s request though – probably a pretty good sign that a judge sees problems with the request.

Marin, in her request, cited a single incident on May 6 when O’Neal allegedly asked her if she “wanted to masturbate with him. Offered me a car back if I would engage with him.” She told RadarOnline.com: “He freaked me out. I filed the restraining order because I was afraid that he knew where I lived or would come to my house. He’s old enough to be my grandfather.”

The problem is this: restraining orders are for situations in which someone is abused, threatened, harassed or stalked. Marin got a rather nasty proposition from a dirty old man. There is no indication that she is in danger – thus the court’s refusal to issue temporary orders. The matter is set for hearing in June – and my guess is that Marin won’t even show up. The case will go away.
