Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice’s husband Joe Giudice was indicted on Tuesday by a New Jersey grand jury, charged with fraudulently obtaining a driver’s license in his brother’s name.

Joe, 40, was charged by a Passaic County grand jury with one count of impersonation and one count of wrongfully using identifying information of another. When his driver’s license was suspended (for DUI), authorities say Giudice used his brother Pietro’s marriage and birth certificates to obtain a driver’s license with Joe’s picture and Pietro’s name, DOB and other info at the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission.

Prosecutors said the scheme came to light when Pietro Giudice was pulled over in March on a traffic stop, and Joe’s picture came up in the computer.

If convicted on both counts, Joe could face more than 11 years in prison.

Kim Kardashian and her fiancé Kris Humphries are reportedly negotiating a prenuptial agreement before they wed. The couple recently became engaged – and Kim became the proud owner of a new 20 carat diamond engagement ring.

Kim (whose late father Robert Kardashian was an attorney) is reportedly worth $35 million. Her betrothed makes over $3 million a year with the New Jersey Nets and is worth an estimated $8 million. His family also has a little bit of money, owning a several Five Guys Burgers & Fries franchises in Minnesota.

Kim’s sister Khloe and her husband, Los Angeles Laker star Lamar Odom, also signed a prenup at the time of their marriage a few years ago.

Kelsey Grammer filed documents with a California court this week, seeking custody of his two children with estranged wife, Camille Grammer. The documents indicated that a child custody expert is evaluating Kelsey, Camille and both kids. The evaluator will then submit his or her report to the court with a recommendation regarding custody.

Kelsey wants a trial upon submission of that evaluation because settlement discussions between he and Camille have apparently broken down.

Kelsey and Camille separated last year, upon the news that Kelsey had started a relationship with a British airline attendant while in New York City for work. Camille was still in Los Angeles, filming The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

The couple divorced earlier this year (and Kelsey immediately married his new girlfriend) in a bifurcated proceeding but reserved custody and financial issues for later determination by the court.

Camille Grammer claims that Kelsey wants to split the children up, taking six-year-old son, Jude, with him and leaving nine-year-old daughter, Mason, with Camille.

Kelsey and his attorneys deny that. TMZ.com obtained a letter from Kelsey’s camp to Camille’s which seems to confirm Camille’s assertion though.

The letter provided to TMZ is dated April 29, 2011 and states “Kelsey proposes … Kelsey shall have primary physical custody of Jude and Camille shall have primary physical custody of Mason.” The letter says Kelsey wants to enroll 6-year-old Jude in a Chicago school.

Camille is represented by LA divorce lawyer Neal Hersh. Kelsey is repped by Robert Kaufman.

Model (and Dancing with the Stars alum) Joanna Krupa is suing fashion company Zoe NYC for more than a quarter million dollars.

Krupa says she signed a deal with the company back in 2009. She was paid $1,500 for a photo shoot and claims that she gave the company the right to use her image to sell its jewelry, embroidery, stones and swimwear for three months.

In the lawsuit, filed by attorney Stephanie Ovadia in New York City, Krupa claims Zoe continues to use her image into 2011 and argues that she should be compensated for the many months of additional use that she was not compensated for.

Quite an anniversary. Adrianne Curry and Christopher Knight announced their split on the five-year anniversary of their wedding. You remember. The wedding that was on their reality TV show, My Fair Brady? The wedding that seemed to be preceded by and then followed up by constant fighting?

Curry, winner of the first cycle of America’s Next Top Model, and Knight, Peter Brady from The Brady Bunch, met while starring on VH-1′s series, The Surreal Life. They followed that up with My Fair Brady, which chronicled their courtship, engagement, wedding and early married life.

Their manager released a statement which read, in part, “After starting a relationship with what seemed to be irreconcilable differences, the couple has reached a period where those differences are no longer appreciated. The decision was mutually reached after it became clear to both that some perspective was needed in order to assess their unique union. Not unlike all marriages, work must be put in.

“Obvious to both Knight and Curry was that their marriage would require more effort then a garden-variety relationship. They are taking time to see if they want to continue to put in that extraordinary effort. The couple has mutually determined that they are at a place where moving forward will require a step back. They still love one another but need some distance to consider their future.

“Both Knight and Curry decided to release this joint announcement today in order to preempt any potential rumors and gossip and ask that their fans and the media respect their privacy during this delicate period.”

Will be interesting to see how this progresses, as Knight, in all likelihood, has substantial pre-marital assets to protect in a divorce.

Linda Hogan (real name: Linda Bollea) settled with the family of John Graziano to resolve their negligence lawsuit against her. Graziano was left with serious brain injury in 2007 when Nick Hogan/Nick Bollea, Linda’s son with former wrestler Hulk Hogan (real name: Terry Bollea), crashed his sports car while drag racing on a Florida street.

Graziano, a former U.S. Marine, was Nick’s passenger at the time of the crash. His family has sued Nick Bollea and both parents for negligence. The trial is currently scheduled for September. The Graziano family’s attorney has indicated that it is unlikely that either Nick or Hulk will settle before trial.

The terms of the settlement with Linda are confidential.

A judge in Newport Beach, California dropped a temporary restraining order Friday against Jay Photoglou who says he was the secret boyfriend of Gretchen Rossi, one of the stars of “The Real Housewives of Orange County”.

“Gretchen and her attorney were a no show in court today, they informed the court about 30 minutes prior to the scheduled hearing time that they weren’t going to attend,” Photoglou told the media.

Rossi claimed that Photoglou threatened to burn down her Costa Mesa home and kill her dogs, grabbed her hair and yanked her head back, made harassing phone calls, and vandalized her home and car. She said he also threatened to “dispose of” Slade Smiley, a former cast member of the Bravo reality TV series and Rossi’s current paramour.

Rossi denies she ever had a romantic relationship with Photoglou.

Gretchen Rossi, newest member of The Real Housewives of Orange County, has recently obtained a temporary restraining order against Jay Photoglou. In her application for the restraining order, Rossi claims that Photoglou threatened to kill her, her dogs, her new boyfriend (Slade Smiley, formerly of The Real Housewives of Orange County) and also threatened to kill himself at her home.

Rossi denies that she was ever romantically involved with Photoglou as many gossip bloggers and tabloids have claimed. Gretchen was engaged to Jeff Beitzel until his recent death of leukemia in September of last year.

“Real Housewives of New York City” star Kelly Bensimon has been sued for stealing a jewelry line from a former colleague.

Celeste Greenberg, who worked at Elle Accessories when Bensimon was editor-in-chief, later created an accessories line called Tuleste Market. Apparently, while Greenberg was still with Elle Accessories, she discovered a vintage owl pendant and gave it to Bensimon to wear for photo shoots and media appearances.

Greenberg alleges that she and Bensimon made an oral agreement to design and manufacture a replica of the owl together, splitting any profits. Greenberg is now suing Bensimon, claiming that Bensimon went ahead and manufactured the pendant on her own, cutting Greenberg out. Bensimon currently sells the owl for $325 under her own jewelry line.

Bensimon’s spokesperson told Page Six: “This girl used to work at Elle Accessories with Kelly. Kelly went out of her way to book her for freelance gigs. They went their separate ways. Now she’s coming after her because she needs money and Kelly’s name is in the press. There’s no validity to this. They never had an agreement about anything.”

In other courthouse news: Bensimon recently entered a not-guilty plea on a misdemeanor charge for allegedly battering boyfriend Nick Stefanov.

Brazilian race car driver and “Dancing With The Stars” champ Helio Castroneves was acquitted today of most charges that he conspired with his sister and lawyer to evade more than $2.3 million in U.S. income taxes.

A Florida federal jury acquitted Castroneves on six counts of tax evasion but was undecided (or “hung”) on one count of conspiracy. The jury returned identical verdicts for his sister Katiucia Castroneves, who is Castroneves’s business manager. Michigan motorsports attorney (who knew there was such a thing as a “motorsports attorney”?!) Alan Miller was acquitted on all counts.

The jury deliberated six days after a six-week trial.

All three faced more than six years in prison if convicted of conspiracy and tax evasion between 1999 and 2004. The case mainly revolved around income from a $2 million sponsorship deal Castroneves had with the Brazilian firm Coimex and his $5 million licensing deal he reached with Penske Racing in late 1999.

Federal prosecutors alleged that the money went to a Panamanian company called Seven Promotions and that the company was a shell corporation set up so Castroneves could avoid U.S. income taxes. The driver’s father testified that he set the company up to promote Castroneves in Brazil and that Castroneves had no ownership interest.

If the company was owned by the younger Castroneves, the IRS maintained that he owed U.S. taxes on the full $5 million from Penske even though he has never actually received the money. The Penske money was invested in a deferred compensation deal with the Dutch firm Fintage Licensing B.V.

Castroneves’s attorney Roy Black told jurors in closing arguments that such deals are common — and perfectly legal — for athletes who have relatively short careers and face injury or worse at any moment. Black also said Castroneves had only a minimal understanding of his financial affairs and relied on professional managers and advisers to assist him in handling his finances.

In addition to the Penske and Coimex funds, Castroneves was charged with claiming improper tax deductions and failing to disclose as income Hugo Boss clothing and airline tickets he received.

An acquittal doesn’t necessarily mean that a jury believed Castroneves to be innocent – only that the jury didn’t feel the prosecutors connected all the dots and proved the charges beyond a reasonable doubt.
