The suit, filed in L.A. County Superior Court, claims that Fawcett hired Nevius and gave him special access to personal information and film footage. But the result was, what estate lawyers describe as “amateurish and sensationalized, and looked like tabloid journalism, which was not at all what Ms. Fawcett wanted.”

The lawsuit claims that, upon hearing of Farrah’s criticism of the film, Nevius sought out “misplaced revenge” by intentionally revealing private, personal information about Fawcett, giving out footage without her consent and embezzling funds from a trust set up to manage the film.

No response yet from Nevius.

Dick was in Huntington, WV performing at the Funny Bone comedy club. The criminal complaint says Dick was talking to a man when he “unexpectedly and without invitation grabbed the victim’s crotch, repeatedly groping then kissing him.”

A press release from the Huntington Police Department says: “Based upon statements of two victims and independent witness accounts alleging that he had engaged in unwanted and uninvited groping of the two victims’ genital areas, Andrew R. Dick (AKA Andy Dick) of South Pasadena, Calif., was arrested and charged with two counts of Sex Abuse in the First Degree.”

He is currently in custody at the Western Regional Jail. He is due to be arraigned sometime today.

Dick is currently on probation over similar incident a few years ago. He ultimately pleaded guilty to battery in that case. He appeared last year on VH1’s reality show Sober House, a spin-off of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, which followed Dick and other housemates as they tried to navigate life in Hollywood after rehab.

Seems like there’s been a relapse…

Principal counterclaimed against Banegas, claiming the maid was crazy, slamming doors, hurting her dog and demanding money. Victoria says she pulled the gun and cocked it out of fear.

In the letter of apology, Banegas says, “I can now understand why you felt that I was threatening to you, which, in turn, led you to defend yourself.” She went on, apologizing for “any unintentional injury to your little dog, Mei-ling.”

The terms of the settlement were not disclosed.

Graziano, a former U.S. Marine, was Nick’s passenger at the time of the crash. His family has sued Nick Bollea and both parents for negligence. The trial is currently scheduled for September. The Graziano family’s attorney has indicated that it is unlikely that either Nick or Hulk will settle before trial.

The terms of the settlement with Linda are confidential.

According to the police report, Merion Powers claims Katt invited him to the hotel to discuss a debt. Power then allegedly believed that the situation was going to go badly so he pressed the record button on his cell phone and taped the altercation.

According to the report, “Mr. Williams was on audio recording stating that he did physically strike Mr. Power’s once in the nose” and that Powers’ nose “did show signs of swelling.” Katt was never arrested — but warrants were finally issued on December 28. (It is not necessarily unusual for a prosecutor’s office to take some time to review available evidence – or even ask for additional investigation by law enforcement – before filing charges.

A source connected to Katt claims Powers was attempting to extort the comedian over a musical recording made by Williams, and when Williams told Powers to forget about getting paid, an associate of Powers called hotel security which called police.

Bach is scheduled to be arraigned on these newest charges tomorrow. If she is found guilty, she could be sentenced as a repeat DUI offender. And face some substantial jail time. My money’s on probation and court-ordered treatment. We’ll see.

Any bets on whether she’ll end up on the next cast of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew?

Prosecutors offered no explanation as to what they found during their investigation or why the case has been dropped. No charges were ever filed against Copperfield. Representatives for the magician have alleged that the woman was untruthful, and that he never forced himself on her.

“We filed a notice today that we had terminated the grand jury inquiry,” Emily Langlie, a U.S. Attorney’s Office spokeswoman.

The victim has also filed a civil lawsuit against the magician. That case was filed last July and put on hold two months ago to allow the criminal investigation to run its course. The investigation went public over two years ago, when law enforcement officials conducted searches at Copperfield’s property warehouse and magic museum in Las Vegas.

The closing of the criminal investigation does not necessarily mean the end of a civil lawsuit – although it certainly weakens the plaintiff’s case. Criminal court and civil court use two different legal standards – “beyond a reasonable doubt” is a much higher hurdle to clear than “preponderance of the evidence”, which basically means that the jury must believe that it is more likely than not that defendant did whatever the plaintiff alleges.

Most of the defendants in the suit are manufacturers or sellers of drywall and other products which formerly contained asbestos. NBC and 20th Century Fox appear to named largely for an unsafe workplace claim – Olsen’s assertion that they failed to provide him with a safe place to work by allowing the use and installation of asbestos products without proper precaution.

Olsen played for the Los Angeles Rams and then became a football announcer and then an actor on TV shows like Little House on the Prairie and Father Murphy. He was apparently diagnosed with the rare asbestos cancer mesothelioma a few months ago.

According to the lawsuit, filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Olsen was originally exposed to asbestos when working after school doing manual labor when he was 10 or 11. He was again exposed to asbestos later in life when he was doing drywall. Olsen also worked at NBC and 20th Century FOX and is alleging those companies negligently exposed him to asbestos.

Law enforcement sources say there was a call for a possible domestic violence disturbance in Hollywood at around 12:30 this morning. When cops showed up, Sizemore happened to be in the area and police discovered the warrant. He was arrested and booked. A friend of his was also arrested for being in possession of narcotics.

Chances this guy is on the wagon?

Westmoore Lending of Huntington Beach, CA sued McMahon and his wife Pamela for $250,000 plus interest and penalties after their 2007 default on an unsecured loan. The dispute is now settled and the parties asked for the suit to be dismissed.

McMahon has also defaulted on the mortgage on his Beverly Hills mansion.
