jacksonbainPop music icon Michael Jackson has been sued by his longtime publicist and general manager Raymone Bain. Bain filed suit in Washington D.C., claiming that Jackson has not fulfilled his financial obligations to her. She is seeking $44 million.

In 2005, Bain was fired by Michael’s brother Randy just days before the singer’s acquittal on child molestation charges. But, in 2006 she was made General Manager of the Michael Jackson Company.

In her lawsuit filed Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Washington, Bain says Jackson agreed to pay her 10 percent of any agreements that she handled. She alleges that Jackson didn’t pay her for negotiating the release of a CD to commemorate the 25th anniversary of his “Thriller” album, refinancing his loan to keep the Beatles’ song catalog, and negotiations that led to an upcoming sold-out concert series in London.
