A guy from the Bronx named Frank Pinto filed a $1 million lawsuit against actress Debra Winger yesterday in New York. He alleges that he was injured in December 2008 when Winger’s car collided with the car he was riding in. Pinto claims he “sustained serious injury” due to Winger’s negligent driving and also due to the negligence of her car’s owner and the driver of the car he (Pinto) was riding in.
Including all of those folks in the lawsuit as defendants is very typical of an auto negligence case.
