Former Major League Baseball star Roberto Alomar and his ex-girlfriend have apparently settled a lawsuit in which she claims he made her have unprotected sex even though he had AIDS or HIV.
The girlfriend Ilya Dall sued Alomar in Brooklyn federal court in February for $15 million. Her allegations were never publicly corroborated. The court’s docket sheet now says a settlement had been reached. Of course, no attorneys are commenting.
Alomar played Major League Baseball for many years and is regarded as one of the game’s great second basemen. He says he is “in very good health.” Although he never expressly denied the AIDS/HIV allegations. Interesting that this settled so quickly.
