The mother of New York Yankee pitcher Joba Chamberlain was arrested this weekend in Lincoln, Nebraska for selling meth to an undercover cop in February.
Jacqueline Standley allegedly sold “.6 gram of methamphetamine in a plastic bag” to an officer for $110 a few months ago, but toxicology reports on the drugs just came back from the state crime lab. So, a warrant was finally issued and Standley was arrested and charged with delivery of an exceptionally hazardous drug.
Her son Chamberlain was sentenced to nine months probation last month in Nebraska after pleading guilty to DUI.
