A Los Angeles Superior Court Judge extended a restraining order against Britney Spears’s former manager/Svengali Sam Lutfi for three years. Odd lawyer Jon Eardley is similarly restrained.
Both Lutfi and Eardley are required to stay at least 100 yards away from Britney, her sons and her family members’ homes. They are not to harass or contact Britney or her kids by phone, mail or email. They are prohibited from trying to act on her behalf in any manner. They had previously attempted to challenge the conservatorship now existing over the singer – claiming that Britney had authorized and requested that they do so.
Bryan Freedman, Lutfi’s attorney, told People magazine that: “We absolutely will appeal this ruling. Never before in history has a restraining order been issued against someone who answered another person’s cries for help.”
Lutfi also has a suit pending against the Spears family for defamation and battery.
