Redmond O’Neal, son of Ryan O’Neal and Farrah Fawcett, was given court permission to leave jail this weekend to visit his ill mother. He was allowed to leave the jail for three hours on Saturday after his attorney was given the judge’s permission on Friday.
The young O’Neal was reportedly escorted to Fawcett’s home by sheriff’s deputies at the family’s expense. Fawcett is battling cancer and has been in and out of the hospital lately.
Redmond was returned to custody to await his next hearing. He is jailed on drug charges and probation violations.
