Do you know who Scott Storch is? He’s gross. He used to be a really rich hip hop music producer. Wikipedia says his production company is called Tuff Jew Productions. So. Cool. And he’s really gross.
Anyway, he has apparently been charged with grand theft auto. Storch allegedly leased a Bentley but never returned it after the lease expired. The leasing company couldn’t find the car for seven months.
Storch pled not guilty in Broward County Court last Friday.
Storch’s lawyer claims this is a civil dispute and not a criminal case. In most states, however, the purposeful failure to return rental property after the expiration of the lease is considered a crime. Depending on the value of the property, the crime is a misdemeanor or a felony.
Bentley? Felony.
