Nick Bollea’s Civil Case Set for Trial

nickbolleaA Florida judge has set a tentative trial date in the auto negligence civil lawsuit against Hulk Hogan’s family filed by the family of John Graziano. Three weeks are set aside for the trial next March if there is no settlement before then.

Graziano was injured in August 2007 after Nick Bollea lost control of his Toyota Supra and crashed into a palm tree during a street race in downtown Clearwater, Florida. Bollea is the son of Hulk Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea.

In other news, the state of California granted Nick Bollea a drivers license last week and can now operate a motor vehicle in any state without restriction except Florida, despite serving jail time for reckless driving. He has a hardship license in Florida, allowed to drive only for “business purposes.” Which would be what exactly? I am not aware of any business Nick Bollea has other than being a trashy douchebag.

“California is one of the states that looks at the fact that he had a valid license in Florida, albeit with certain restrictions, but they don’t recognize those restrictions,” Bollea’s lawyer Kevin Hayslett said. “So, he’s given a full license to drive in California.” Awesome fucking news for everyone in California, I guess.

Bollea has four more years of probation and is “working” at a record company. Hayslett said Bollea wants to return to drift racing. (Oh My God, are you fucking kidding me?!)

And in still other related news, Edward J. Graziano, father of the vegetative John Graziano, has entered a not-guilty plea on a charge of solicitation to commit murder. The elder Graziano (one of the plaintiffs in the auto negligence case against the Bollea family) allegedly hired a hitman to off his estranged wife.

He was arrested in February after he offered an undercover detective $2,100 and a gift card to a pizza restaurant to kill his wife, Debra, according to law enforcement. The pizza gift card probably closed the deal, I’m guessing.

And these are the twisted fucking days of our lives.
