Redmond O’Neal, son of actor Ryan O’Neal and actress Farrah Fawcett, was arrested this morning for drug possession on jail grounds in California. O’Neal had just dropped off two friends who were going to visit an incarcerated friend when he was stopped in the parking lot.
O’Neal was reportedly found in possession of heroin and Xanax (presumable without a prescription). He is already in violation of his recent methamphetamine probation because he skipped out on court-ordered rehab last week.
Sadly, O’Neal is just 24 years old and his mother, Fawcett, is reportedly dying of cancer.
